Pinealon
research guide

Pinealon is a short synthetic peptide investigated in a small body of human and animal research. The sources reviewed include a railway-worker study, a study of patients with chronic polymorbidity, and an aged-rat stress study. Reported changes in biological-age measures are not proof of longer life or established clinical benefit. The patient study also reported prooxidant activity and changes in circulating hematopoietic cell markers, which complicate claims that the compound is uniformly protective.

01 · Start with identity

What is Pinealon?

Pinealon is described in the bioregulator peptide literature as a short synthetic peptide intended to model regulatory activity attributed to pineal-associated short peptides in that research tradition; it is a distinct compound from other pineal-associated products such as Epithalon, and findings for one should not be assumed to transfer to the other.

02 · Read the evidence

What the studies reported

01

Applied human study in occupational workers

A study of railway locomotive-brigade workers reported that a two-week oral regimen of a capsule containing 100 micrograms of Pinealon taken twice daily was associated with improved parameters of biological age and adaptation capacity, framed as supporting professional reliability in a demanding occupational context. [1]

02

Human study in patients with chronic polymorbidity

A study of 32 patients aged 41 to 83 with chronic polymorbidity and organic brain syndrome in remission evaluated the short synthetic tripeptides Pinealon and Vesugen, reporting a significant anabolic effect and improved biological-age indicators for both, while also finding evidence of increased prooxidant activity on chemiluminescence testing and noting Vesugen showed a more visible geroprophylactic effect than Pinealon. [2]

03

Animal study on hypoxia and hypothermia stress models

A study in 18-month-old aged rats compared Pinealon and the related peptide Cortexin across acute hypobaric hypoxia and mild hypothermia stress models, finding that Cortexin had a more pronounced effect on free radical processes and caspase-3 activity than Pinealon, while both peptides increased adrenergic mediator accumulation in hypoxia and serotonin accumulation in hypothermia. [3]

03 · Numbers in context

What does dosing evidence actually support?

The railway-worker study described an oral Pinealon capsule regimen over two weeks. A separate study evaluated Pinealon and Vesugen in patients aged 41 to 83 with chronic polymorbidity, but its abstract did not establish the exact dose, route or duration. Missing administration details should not be filled in from another study. These reports do not establish a broadly validated human protocol or demonstrate that a supplier research vial is equivalent to the preparations studied.

A study dose is not a personal dose. Population, route, formulation and supervision are part of the result. Online community schedules are not treated here as established clinical protocols.

04 · Safety and limits

What not to overlook

  • The human studies cited were published in 2012 and 2015, with limited methods available in the abstracts reviewed; independent confirmation was not identified here.
  • The chronic polymorbidity study reported prooxidant activity and reduced CD34-positive hematopoietic cell markers alongside claimed benefits. These findings do not establish clinical safety.
  • Pinealon is a distinct compound from other pineal-associated peptides like Epithalon and should not be assumed to share their evidence base.
  • One human study used an oral capsule; the other abstract did not specify the route. Neither establishes equivalence to a supplier research vial.

05 · Product distinctions

Names are not interchangeable

Marketed both as an oral capsule product (as used in the cited occupational study) and as a lyophilized injectable-format research vial; these are different formulations and routes, and the cited human study evidence applies specifically to the oral capsule form, not to any injectable research vial.

06 · Handling and storage

Follow validated product instructions

A single water volume, refrigerator temperature or expiry window cannot be assumed for every compound and formulation. Use the exact manufacturer documentation and a validated laboratory procedure. If stability, solvent compatibility or microbiological quality is not documented, those properties remain unverified.

Refrigeration, clear appearance and bacteriostatic water do not make an unverified research product suitable for injection. This guide does not provide a mixing or administration procedure.

The existing concentration calculator checks arithmetic only. It cannot choose a safe dose or establish compatibility, sterility or shelf life.

Questions still worth asking

What remains unresolved?

  • Would a larger, independently conducted trial replicate the biological-age improvements reported in the locomotive-crew worker study?
  • Does the injectable research-vial form have any human data at all, given that the only located human study used an oral capsule?
