Wolverine Blend (BPC-157 + TB-500)
research guide

Wolverine Blend is a supplier product combining BPC-157 and TB-500 (thymosin beta-4 related peptide) in one vial. A controlled rat Achilles tendon study did test a combined BPC-157 plus TB-500 treatment arm against each peptide alone and against control, giving real combined-agent animal evidence. That study did not use the specific packaged ratio sold commercially as Wolverine Blend, and its rat dosing does not establish a human protocol.

01 · Start with identity

What is Wolverine Blend (BPC-157 + TB-500)?

This is a commercial blend product name. The closest evidence identified is a controlled rat experiment that included a combined BPC-157 plus TB-500 treatment arm, using research doses selected by the study investigators, not the specific per-vial ratio a supplier sells as Wolverine Blend.

02 · Read the evidence

What the studies reported

01

Combined treatment arm in rat tendon study

A controlled rat Achilles tendon study (32 rats, 4 groups of 8) included a combined BPC-157 (10 microg/kg/day) plus TB-500 (60 microg/kg/day) arm alongside BPC-157 alone, TB-500 alone, and control, given intraperitoneally for four weeks [1].

02

No added benefit from combining the two peptides

In that study, TB-500 alone produced a statistically significant biomechanical improvement (higher maximum load to failure) and significant histopathology score improvements versus control; BPC-157 alone showed a non-significant numerical improvement specifically on the biomechanical (maximum load to failure) measure, while histological scoring in the BPC-157 and combined groups showed significant improvement on the Movin score. Combining the two peptides did not confer additional benefit over TB-500 alone, and the authors suggested this may reflect convergence on shared downstream pathways requiring further confirmation. 03 · Numbers in context

What does dosing evidence actually support?

The one identified combined-agent study administered BPC-157 (10 microg/kg/day) plus TB-500 (60 microg/kg/day) intraperitoneally for four weeks in rats, a specific experimental ratio chosen by the study investigators for that animal model. This is not the same ratio marketed in commercial Wolverine Blend vials, and no human dosing study for the combined agents, in any ratio, was identified in the sources reviewed.

A study dose is not a personal dose. Population, route, formulation and supervision are part of the result. Online community schedules are not treated here as established clinical protocols.

04 · Safety and limits

What not to overlook

  • The identified combined-agent study used a rat model and an experimental dose ratio, not the commercial vial ratio sold as Wolverine Blend
  • In that study, combining the two peptides did not outperform TB-500 given alone
  • No human study of combined BPC-157 and TB-500 administration, in any ratio, was identified in the sources reviewed
  • Not an FDA approved product

05 · Product distinctions

Names are not interchangeable

Reign Peptide sells Wolverine Blend in two vial sizes: a 10mg vial listed as BPC-157 5mg plus TB-500 5mg, and a 20mg vial listed as BPC-157 10mg plus TB-500 10mg, both described by the supplier as lyophilized powder verified by third-party HPLC per component and for in-vitro research use only. This 1:1 ratio is the supplier's stated product specification and was not the ratio used in the cited rat study, which used unequal per-kilogram doses of each peptide.

06 · Handling and storage

Follow validated product instructions

A single water volume, refrigerator temperature or expiry window cannot be assumed for every compound and formulation. Use the exact manufacturer documentation and a validated laboratory procedure. If stability, solvent compatibility or microbiological quality is not documented, those properties remain unverified.

Refrigeration, clear appearance and bacteriostatic water do not make an unverified research product suitable for injection. This guide does not provide a mixing or administration procedure.

The existing concentration calculator checks arithmetic only. It cannot choose a safe dose or establish compatibility, sterility or shelf life.

Questions still worth asking

What remains unresolved?

  • Would a study using the specific 1:1 milligram ratio sold commercially reproduce the tendon healing pattern seen with the study's unequal experimental doses?
  • Why did combining BPC-157 and TB-500 fail to outperform TB-500 alone in the cited rat study, and does this hold in other injury models?
